Flanders has 600,000 informal caregivers. They are an important cornerstone in the socialisation of care. Due to the nature of their care task, they often form a risk group for social isolation and depressive feelings.

That's why our friends from iDROPS vzw came up with the "mantelzorgcafés". These are places where caretakers of needy people can go for a listening ear, a good chat and a warm atmosphere. 

iDROPS vzw invited us to go and meet some caretakers and their spouses.
