October 18, 2018 is the day that more than 15,000 young people in Flanders and Brussels don’t go to school. Instead they choose to go and work for one day. The wages that they earn on that day, 50 euros, go to projects of committed young people worldwide.

This year YOUCA's focus was on the project of TRIAS ngo and their Guinean parter organisation 'Jeunes Solidaires'. Due to the shortage of jobs, the emigration to 'better' places, ... Guinee is not an easy place to grow up. But some young people do not dispair. Meet Mariama and Nestor, who take their fate into their own hands. With the help of Jeunes Solidaires they learn to do business themselves.
